Our program is accredited by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and features over 200 hours of clinical residency (the most in the state!) and student teaching opportunities. We give you the confidence to establish a trusting environment and to foster the group dynamics essential to run a successful classroom. We also provide you with the tools to teach content and the skills to help shape the character of children and adolescents, all while layering in the environmental background that so many schools are looking for today.

Program Emphasis Options

  • Elementary/Middle Education (Grades 1-8)

    This focused four-year program, including student teaching, includes project- and problem-based teaching and learning strategies for student success in the classroom.

  • Secondary Education (Grades 7-12)

    This focused four-year program, allows you to teach high school math, social studies, or science (which includes biology, chemistry, or geoscience).

  • Broad Field Science or Social Studies

    Focus your education degree on one of the sciences (biology, chemistry, geology) or history/social studies. You can undertake an education major while also majoring in one of the accompanying fields of study.
