We believe connection to the natural world is an integral and inherent part of being human and is necessary for the conservation of humans and life on Earth. Developing a relationship with nature is essential for human and planetary health and wellbeing. Through connection with the natural world we nurture curiosity, compassion and creativity, necessary character traits for sustaining our world.
SOEI youth programs are designed to immerse participants, of all ages, in the wildness and wonder of nature, connecting youth to the outdoors, nourishing mind, body and spirit, and preparing them with creative and intellectual skills as stewards of the future. Our curriculum includes service learning projects, outdoor skills, ecological literacy, and, cultural and natural history while also integrating restorative practices and opportunities to build social and emotional skills and resiliency. We love adventuring and learning with youth outdoors!
Our programs are made available in part through generous donations. If you value the work we are doing, please consider making a gift.
