Northland College is a private liberal arts college with a progressive focus on the environment and sustainability. We made history as the first college in the country to fully integrate an environmental focus with its liberal arts curriculum.

We have prepared students from across the United States and around the world for meaningful lives and successful careers. Founded in 1892, Northland College is located at the top of Wisconsin, on the south shore of Lake Superior. Adjacent to the Apostle Islands and over a million acres of national forest, Northland has an unparalleled living laboratory and natural playground just beyond our doors.
