Come one, come all to the Food Recovery Network’s first official cooking class! As part of this event, you will receive food safety training to prepare you to work in a commercial kitchen, such as the Hulings Rice Food Center. You’ll choose from a variety of recovered flour (gluten free options are available, too!) that we have to make your very own pasta dough, and then you’ll roll it out and cut it to be stored until Saturday night.
This event is open to current Northland College students only.
On Saturday, we will be hosting a community dinner event in the Diversity Center along with Fools Brew Kombucha and the ReUse Room. After this cooking class, you can choose to take your pasta home with you or save it for the community dinner!
We hope to feed you soon!
