The Applied Research and Environmental Laboratory (ARELab) is an analytical laboratory that supports applied environmental research and provides service to citizens and natural resource professionals throughout the region.
Students work with faculty and staff to analyze a range of environmental samples that describe water quality, soil nutrients, and foodweb processes. Data from the ARELab support a wide range of environmental management decisions.
