Congratulations, graduates! Northland College is proud to have welcomed 106 graduates into the Northland alumni family at the 112th Commencement Ceremony this past weekend.
The Class of 2023 has already made an impact—on campus and in the world. Among the crowd of soon-to-be-grads in caps and gowns were student association senators, directors, and co-presidents; Eco Reps; event organizers; and published authors. They’ve supported projects that tackle climate issues in the Midwest, worked to find alternatives to toxic substances, taught people how to scale trees, and presented at national conferences.
This year’s graduates have done remarkable things, and it should be no surprise. A Northland education centers on exploring the fundamental interconnections between nature, place, and people. Approaching complex problems with diverse perspectives in mind. Thinking critically and imagining better futures.
Northland students leave the College well-prepared for the world as it is today and in the future—a future that they’re well-poised to shape.
