Jessica Dexter is a staff attorney focused on clean water litigation and policy issues at the Environmental Law and Policy Center of the Midwest and has opened a new office for Environmental Law and Policy Center in Duluth, Minn.
She is 2000 graduate of Northland College, where she studied environmental studies. She earned her law and masters degree in 2006 from Vermont Law School.
She serves as co-chair of the Wetlands Workgroup for the Mississippi River Collaborative, helping to craft wetlands-saving strategies throughout the basin. Her other work includes finding solutions to nitrogen and phosphorus pollution in the Mississippi River basin, reducing pollution from coal mining and cleaning up the Chicago River.
At Northland College, Dexter worked on land use planning in northern Wisconsin as a fellow at the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute.
