Wakefield-Marinesco Project Clean UP

A group of seventh and eighth graders have created a club called Project Clean UP and will be leading elementary classes and community members in a community Earth Day clean up. Chris Zweiten ’05 is helping out. If you’re interested and looking for details email Chris at

Andrew VanGorp ’13 will lead a forest preserve cleanup as part of an ongoing effort by Sustain DuPage. Johnnie Fisher ’72, and Stuart Barnes Jamieson ’81 will provide refreshments for all.

Join fellow Northlanders for a day of restoration in the Churchill Woods Forest Preserve. Find us in the central parking lot on the South side of St. Charles (West of I-355 and East of Swift Road). Wear boots, warm clothes, and bring a water bottle! We will provide water, safety glasses, gloves, and tools. Kids must have a guardian at a ratio of three kids to one guardian.
