• Students around a camp fire

The orientation program will prepare you for the first day of classes, offer opportunities to meet new students, and answer any questions you have about living at Northland College.

New student orientation is for all first-year and transfer students. The program is made up of an outdoor orientation (OO) trip and an on-campus orientation. First-year students are required to participate in both. Transfer students (those arriving with more than 24 credits) are required to participate in either the one-day on-campus orientation or take an orientation trip designed specifically for transfer students.

The OO trip is designed to introduce you to other students while exposing you to life in northern Wisconsin. Trip options include everything from backcountry expeditions to urban exploration. Have some fun looking over your options!
