"Ashland has changed me for the better. It’s always good to gain new perspectives and life here is so much different." Danon Briggs ’19, Junior Transfer Student, B.A. Education

We make transferring easy.

  • Keep Your Credits

You won’t have to take a step backwards when you transfer to Northland. You can transfer up to 65 credits from a 2-year institution and up to 94 credits form a 4-year institution. Plus, admitted transfer students will receive a preliminary credit evaluation so you’ll know how many credits will transfer right from the start.

  • Experiential Learning at an Affordable Price

Admitted transfer students are eligible for annually renewing scholarships between $18,500 and $24,500. We work with you to create a financial aid package that works.

  • Guidance Each Step of the Way

Transfer students work exclusively with a dedicated transfer admissions counselor throughout the entire process–from admissions, to applying for aid, to enrollment and registration.
