Explore. Engage. Enrich your life.
Founded in 1892, Northland College has offered generations of students a pathway to success. Our career-focused, liberal arts curriculum is specially geared towards exploration. It is the culmination of the diverse expertise and life experiences of our faculty, and it’s designed to help you explore your options, find your purpose, and prepare you to address the real-world problems you’ll face in your personal and professional life.
Our arts, sciences, and humanities courses are designed to provide you with the tools and confidence you need to be successful, all while providing you with a clear vision of what you want to do and who you want to be. Our general education courses integrate liberal arts with an environmental studies emphasis, preparing you to be a leader in environmental issues and in working to address societal dynamics.
We make transferring easy.
Keep Your Credits
You won’t have to take a step backwards when you transfer to Northland. You can transfer up to 65 credits from a 2-year institution and up to 94 credits form a 4-year institution. Plus, admitted transfer students will receive a preliminary credit evaluation so you’ll know how many credits will transfer right from the start.
Experiential Learning at an Affordable Price
Admitted transfer students are eligible for annually renewing scholarships between $18,500 and $24,500. We work with you to create a financial aid package that works.
Guidance Each Step of the Way
Transfer students work exclusively with a dedicated transfer admissions counselor throughout the entire process–from admissions, to applying for aid, to enrollment and registration.
An education at Northland involves more than just sitting in lecture halls. We combine classroom learning with immersive field studies and opportunities within the community to create a one-of-a-kind learning experience. Our career-focused curriculum will provide you with the tools and confidence to succeed in anything you do.
