Fuse sound business practices with sustainable entrepreneurship and social responsibility. Northland’s business program provides you with a foundational understanding of economics, finance, management, and marketing, all while engaging in environmental and social responsibility.
You’ll study the core concepts of business and non-profit management, entrepreneurship and strategic planning as you prepare for your career in your field of choice. A sports management minor is also an option for those seeking to learn the traditions, social values, and ethical and psycho-social experiences related to sports; the concepts of management and leadership; and the skills, roles, and functions of sports managers.
Program Emphasis Options
Prepare yourself for a career in accounting, small business, management, and other areas of business. You’ll take classes on global business/marketing, quantitative methods, and technology and communication, all while gaining management and strategic development skills through our internship opportunities.
Build on the basics of entrepreneurship and ecological and social concerns through business planning, product development, and the evaluation of existing businesses. You will learn to recognize change, identify challenges to a sustainable world, and to create market opportunities for sustainability-focused businesses.
