Northland College is seeking an assistant coach for the women’s soccer program. The assistant coach will be involved in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to recruiting, player management, practice planning, and game planning. The assistant coach will serve as the top assistant for the program.
Northland College competes in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference of NCAA DIII.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting
- Attend showcase tournaments
- Use online databases to find potential future student athletes
- Plan and coordinate recruiting visits
- Practice planning
- Assist coaches in practice preparation
- Game planning
- Assist coaches in game preparation and assist in coordinating travel
- Fundraising
- Assist coaches in fundraising plans
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid driver’s license required
Additional Information
Supervisory Responsibilities: The assistant coach will be with student athletes and is expected to uphold the standards of both programs and represent the College in a positive manner.
Travel Required: Travel for recruiting will be required at times, as well as travel to away games.
Work Environment: Job will include office work, travel, and time on the field.
