SUMMARY:Teach-out and Transfer Fair
DESCRIPTION:We know that determining what lies ahead may feel daunting—but we’re here to help. The closure of Northland College shouldn’t mean an end to your studies or progress toward a degree. \nNearly forty colleges and universities will have representatives on campus to tell you about their institution\, guide you through the enrollment process\, share more about resources specifically available to Northlanders or transfer students more generally\, and answer your questions. This is a great way to learn about what opportunities are out there and talk face to face with admissions representatives about what a future on their campus could look like for you. \nInstitutions Attending\nAlaska Pacific University\nLocation: Anchorage\, Alaska\nLearn more. \nAlbion College\nLocation: Albion Michigan\nLearn more. \nAllegheny College\nLocation: Meadville\, Pennsylvania\nLearn more. \nBellin College\nLocation: Bellevue\, Wisconsin\nLearn more. \nBeloit College\nLocation: Beloit\, Wisconsin\nLearn more. \nBemidji State University\nLocation: Bemidji\, Minnesota\nLearn more. \nCarroll University\nLocation: Waukesha\, Wisconsin\nLearn more. \nCoe College\nLocation: Cedar Rapids\, Iowa\nLearn more. \nThe College of St. Scholastica\nLocation: Duluth\, Minnesota\nLearn more. \nCollege of the Atlantic\nLocation: Bar Harbor\, Maine\nLearn more. \nEdgewood College\nLocation: Madison\, Wisconsin\nLearn more. \nGogebic Community College\nLocations: \n\nIronwood\, Michigan\nHoughton\, Michigan\n\nLearn more. \nGustavus Adolphus College\nLocation: Saint Peter\, Minnesota\nLearn more. \nHamline University\nLocation: Saint Paul\, Minnesota\nLearn more. \nIllinois Wesleyan University\nLocation: Bloomington\, Illinois\nLearn more. \nKeweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College\nLocation: L’Anse\, Michigan\nLearn more. \nLake Superior College\nLocation: Duluth\, Minnesota\nLearn more. \nLake Superior State University\nLocation: Sault Ste. SUMMARY:Spring Forest Play
DESCRIPTION:Forest Play is an outdoor\, nature-based program for 3–5 year olds. We are excited to continue this adventure with youth at the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute for our winter and spring programs. Spring sessions are every Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. beginning March 14 and ending April 18\, 2025. \nForest Play provides your child with the opportunity to be outdoors in a facilitated space where participants have the freedom to engage with the environment and their peers through curiosity and exploration. We meet rain\, snow\, or shine. \nAt the core of each day is both structure and freedom. We provide a daily rhythm (see below) with ample room for freedom and exploration. This framework supports your child in continual development of the values of kindness\, creativity\, curiosity\, and stewardship\, as well as the physical development of fine and gross motor skills. The consistent outdoor time also helps support your child’s overall health and well-being. \nProgram Details\nSOEI Youth Programs Coordinator Clair Emmons will be leading Forest Play this year. She will be assisted by Amelia Pietz\, a student at Northland College who also holds an associate’s degree in early childhood education. Mallary Bade and Katherine Jenkins will be supporting the team. We are all looking forward to spending Fridays with your kiddos! SUMMARY:Spring Forest Play
DESCRIPTION:Forest Play is an outdoor\, nature-based program for 3–5 year olds. We are excited to continue this adventure with youth at the SOEI for our winter and spring programs. Spring sessions are every Friday beginning March 14 and ending April 18\, 2025. \nRegister Now \nProgram Details\nSOEI Youth Programs Coordinator Clair Emmons will be leading Forest Play this year. SUMMARY:Spring Forest Play

Spring sessions are every Friday beginning March 14 and ending April 18\, 2025.
