Youth Connect Trails is for youth interested in getting outside, working hard, playing hard and learning what it means to be a confident steward of this Earth. This program is being offered as a FREE stewardship and adventure opportunity for students 14-17 years old. Participants will spend the week engaging in trail building and ecological stewardship projects with SOEI youth programs leaders and US National Forest personnel. The group will base camp near the project site, hike to the project each morning, and then dinner and campfire conversations each evening. Participants will develop skills and project experience all while giving back to the local resource. Transportation to and from field site, experienced guides, field ration, and all group outdoor living and recreational equipment provided.
