Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is an internationally recognized certification. The curriculum is based on the latest and best medical practice for delivering first aid without immediate access to a hospital or an ambulance. This course prepares you to make educated medical decisions in the back-country. Whether you are leading trips professionally or recreating personally, these skills are relevant to anyone managing risk and recreating outdoors.
This course is limited to 18 students. Register early to ensure a seat in the course.Successful graduates of this course will receive Wilderness Medical Associates’ Wilderness First Responder, Anaphylaxis, and BLS/Healthcare Provider-level CPR certifications. The course runs 8 am-6 pm daily.
