Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the ideal medical training for outdoor educators, guides, SAR team members, and others who work or play in remote areas. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical, including the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments. Class runs 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily.

There is a $ 50-course fee reduction for all Northland students, staff, faculty, and alumni.
**Any Northland student who completes this year’s certification and is hired to become an OO leader will benefit from an increased pay-rate and become eligible for a $200 rebate upon completion of their summer orientation contract.**
