Stand Up Paddling Boarding Weekend Workshop
July 12, 6:00 pm–July 14, 2:00 pm
The protected waters of Lake Namekagon are ideal for learning the basics and developing your skills in stand up paddle (SUP) boarding. Join us for a weekend on the water learning about SUP boards and practicing beginner and intermediate paddling technique, rescues and play. Instruction will be provided for all aspects, including sunrise and sunset tours, daytime skills courses and inside/outside classroom lessons. When not paddling, explore the grounds of Forest Lodge, relax in our two story boathouse, or visit one of the many mountain biking trails in the area. Want to rent the gear you need for this workshop? Contact us at 715-682-1223 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Meet Your Instructors
Lucas Will and Natalie Jackson are SUP devotees. They use inflatables to explore Lake Superior from their sailboat, tour on both the North and South Shores, and paddle day trips on the Namekagon River.
