Northland College is proud to partner with Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College to bring New York’s Spiderwoman Theater company to our region. The Indigenous troupe will perform their original show Misdemeanor Dream Friday–Saturday, March 1–2, at Cloquet High School in Cloquet, Minnesota. Tickets are $25 each, and orders of four or more are 20 percent off.

About the Show
In Misdemeanor Dream, a host of otherworldly beings, tricksters, and shapeshifters reach far into our present to reestablish the severed connections between Turtle Island then and now.
Developed through an ensemble theater practice rooted in Indigenous oral tradition, Misdemeanor Dream weaves personal and community stories, both traditional and contemporary—spoken, danced, and sung—and mingles the original languages from the nations of the artists (a total of five).

A limited number of tickets to the Saturday, March 2, performance are available for free to current Northland College students, faculty, and staff. Transportation is available. About the Residency
The Spiderwoman Theater company’s north woods and Twin Ports residency is being held in partnership between Northland College and Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. The residency will consist of a welcome feast and storytelling event at Northland College on February 27, two days of workshops at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College February 28–29, and two nights of Spiderwoman Theater’s Misdemeanor Dream performed at Cloquet High School in Cloquet, Minnesota, March 1–2.
