Sailing, Art, and the Apostle Islands is for participants 14-17 years of age interested in learning to sail, living aboard a tall ship for five days and broadening their perspective of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore through creative exploration and action. How does art influence stewardship of a place? Does it? Participants will have the chance to find out as they get creative through experiences on the boat, in the water and on the islands. Join us in this creative, relaxed and adventurous five days!
Registration for this program is based on a sliding-scale fee—pay what you can. Minimum amount is $200; suggested amount is $200–500. Please contact Katherine Jenkins if you are in need of financial assistance.
Space is limited to twelve participants. Registration closes on June 1 or when the program fills, whichever is sooner.
