Join the Burke Center to celebrate the launch of Peter Annin’s brand new book—Purified: How Recycled Sewage is Transforming Our Water.

This new book explores why millions in the Sun Belt are being asked to embrace purified sewage as a drinking water source. Not only is water recycling safe and reliable, but it is a much more sustainable alternative than shipping water from the Mississippi River to the Southwest. It’s time to get over the “yuck factor.”

Books will be available for purchase at the event through local booksellers Apostle Islands Booksellers and Honest Dog Books.
