Join Northland College’s Indigenous Cultures Center, Center for Rural Communities, and business program for a viewing of the documentary More Than a Word. The documentary tells the story of grassroots movements to eliminate Native American-based mascots in all levels of play and competition. It focuses on the history of the Washington Football Team and efforts that were ultimately successful in changing the name.
