A Northland College fall semester tradition! Join SOEI student leaders and other bicycling enthusiasts for a twenty-six-mile bike ride along the Tri-County Corridor Trail (an old rail road grade with a smooth crushed lime surface) by moonlight (or head lamp!). This annual ride takes place the night before Ashland hosts its annual Whistle-stop Marathon, tracing the route that runners will experience the next morning.
SOEI Outdoor Pursuits will provide aid stations with snacks, hot cocoa, and good cheer every ten miles along the route. Finish the ride at the campus fire ring with a bonfire and treats! SOEI Outdoor Pursuits will provide free transportation and bike shuttling for the first ten people to sign up. This event is open to more than ten riders, but riders beyond the initial ten must arrange their own personal people/bike transportation.
