Maintaining Balance During Stressful Times
Taming the Mind, Unlocking the Heart

Learn techniques for Maintaining Balance During Stressful Times with Lama Yeshe, a monk in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. This day long workshop will help to develop strategies for enhanced peace of mind. As we alter the way we interact with our minds, we transforms how we relate to the world around us. Meditation tames the mind reducing the distractions caused by fear, wild thoughts, and the chaos of everyday life. Compassion trains the mind and develops patience, tolerance and kindness for ourselves and others. As awareness of our habitual mental patterns grows we realized that we can respond to situations with patience and compassion. The event is free and Lama Yeshe will dine with students and attendees in the cafeteria from 11 – 12:30.
