Join SOEI Outdoor Pursuits for a day on the ice. No experience necessary; you’ll learn the basics of crampon and ice tool use, body positioning, and movement at one of the Northwoods’ premier ice-climbing destinations! Transportation, experienced instructors, lunch, and all equipment provided.
This event is open to current Northland College students, faculty, and staff.
The full cost of facilitating this SOEI weekend trip ($155.00/person) has been largely offset by a generous grant from the Endeavor Foundation. What’s more, to meet our goal of ensuring equitable access to our experiences, students may choose from three price-point options.
There will be a pre-trip meeting in the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute on Thursday, February 16, at 6 p.m. This outing will depart from the SOEI at 9 a.m. on Sunday, February 19, and return by 5 p.m.
Registration has closed. We hope you can join us on a future outing!
