Enjoy the fall of colors of northern Wisconsin while exploring forested trails on horseback. Riding stable staff provide instruction and guidance along the trail. No previous riding experience is necessary, and the actual ride will last for about an hour.
Special notes: Because of the horses available at the stable, riders must weigh less than 220 pounds fully clothed, and all riders may be weighed prior to beginning the ride. Riders under the age of 18 will need to have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian in advance.
Transportation, experienced wranglers, lunch, and all equipment provided.
The full cost of facilitating this trip has been largely offset by a generous grant from the Endeavor Foundation. What’s more, to meet our goal of ensuring equitable access to our experiences, students may choose from three price-point options.
There will be a pre-trip meeting in the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute on Thursday, October 5 at 6 p.m. This outing will depart from the SOEI on Saturday, October 7 at 9 a.m. and return at 5 p.m.
Registration has closed. We hope you can join us on a future outing!
