You’ve worked hard this semester—it’s time to take a deep breath before finals! Join SOEI student leaders for a relaxing weekend getaway at Forest Lodge. Nestled on the south shore of Lake Namekagon, you’ll enjoy leisurely walks through the Forest Lodge Nature Trail, lounging in the Boat House overlooking Champaign Island, and eating hearty, home-cooked meals before settling in around the fireplace for evenings of board games and crafts. This weekend is all about returning to campus well-rested and ready to finish the semester strong.
The full cost of facilitating this SOEI day outing ($375.00/person) has been largely offset by a generous grant from the Endeavor Foundation. What’s more, to meet our goal of ensuring equitable access to our experiences, students may choose from three price-point options.
There will be a pre-trip meeting in the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute on Tuesday, November 29 at 6 p.m. This outing will depart from the SOEI at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 2, and return by 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 4.
Registration has closed. We hope you can join us on a future outing!
