American Lung Association—Northwest Wisconsin Lung Health Alliance
Attention environmental health equity advocates and change-makers!
A representative from the American Lung Association’s local branch, the Northwest Wisconsin Lung Health Alliance, will be on campus to promote their Fall Term public policy and advocacy internship position from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Ponzio Campus Center’s first floor foyer.
Make time to swing by and chat with Advocacy and Public Policy Specialist Charmaine Swan. She’s looking to connect with students interested in applying for this opportunity, those who want to learn more about the Lung Health Alliance’s work, or just to chat and network.
The public policy and advocacy internship is a fantastic opportunity to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can be applied to a wide range of career goals in nonprofit, federal, state, or private sectors. Majors that likely have overlap with the potential projects are as follows, but all are encouraged to apply if your personal interests align with this work.

Bayfield Winery and Blue Ox Cider
Work on a small, family-owned vineyard and orchard in the Bayfield Fruit Loop! Bayfield Winery and Blue Ox Cider is seeking individuals with an interest in wine and cider and a passion for educating visitors about the farm, drinks, and local area. No serving experience necessary. There are immediate openings for full- and part-time tasting room attendants. Opportunities for some harvest/field work are also available!
Pay is $12–14/hr plus tips. This season is April–October.
