Rain or shine, the Chequamegon Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (CUUF) will have its annual summer picnic on Sunday, July 18 from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at the Large Picnic Shelter in Prentice Park in Ashland.
Caring for One Another During COVID-19
Children and youth are ineligible to receive the vaccination, and CUUF’s guidelines for gathering will reflect its deep care for their wellbeing.
- CUUF’s tradition is to host a potluck-style picnic, but to eliminate shared serving utensils, we ask that you bring your own picnic food, beverages, and utensils this year.
- If you have any COVID-related symptoms, including a fever higher than 100 degrees, a cough, or loss of taste or smell, please do not attend this gathering—but do reach out and let us know if you need anything.
- If you recently traveled to a COVID hotspot or had a known COVID exposure, please do not attend this gathering.
- Be a kind neighbor and bring a mask, and if you are in close proximity with others or in conversation, just ask each other if they would like you to wear a mask.
CUUF is a Welcoming Congregation and invites people of every age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, language, ability, religion, or cultural background to attend. For a complete description of the service, please visit www.chequamegonuuf.org.
