In this talk, Professor of History Paul Schue will lay out the intellectual foundations of the US Constitution. He will then discuss how current political movements such as Project 2025 are direct threats to the Constitution because they repudiate its very foundational ideas.
This event is free and open to the public.
Tuesday, September 17, 2024, is Constitution Day and Citizenship Day, an American federal observance recognizing the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become US citizens by birth or naturalization. The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2005, (Pub.
