Solar panels at ELLC residence hall
Organized by the Northland Eco-reps, Conserv-athon is a 20 day event composed of challenges to encourage energy reduction. Challenges include: an art competition (accepting all kinds of work, literature, essays, poems, drawings, sculpture, photography—anything that captures the essence of sustainability or is related to the environment), scavenger hunt, and a potluck (possibly with competitive elements) with cash prizes. The goal is to rally the Northland campus community around energy reduction and shine a light on our own personal impacts and what we can each do to improve them in a fun and friendly way. To find out more about the challenges follow the Eco-Reps on their FB page. Conserve-athon begins 11/10 and runs through 11/30.
