The City of Ashland is hosting a Save Northland College Party and Fundraiser! This is more than just a party—it’s a rallying cry for our beloved local college! Beer starts flowin’ at 5 p.m. Party with us until 10 p.m. at the Bretting Community Center or until the beer taps run dry—whichever comes first. Let’s make memories and support Northland College!
Admission
Admission is just a $5 suggested donation at the door. Northland College staff, students, and faculty get in free! Proceeds go to Northland College.
Live Music
We’ll be showcasing a stellar lineup of bands, including the soulful sounds of Low Hanging Fruit, the wild energy of the Old 13th Street Bandits, and a special spinoff from Bad Columbus named Dicey Riley and the Gobshites, featuring Northland alumni! There might be some current Northland College student bands joinin’ in on the fun, too! We’ll have music bumping the whole day.
Food and Drink
Enjoy some delicious chili and cornbread straight from the kitchens of the Northland College Hulings Rice Food Center, savor delectable bratwurst and snacks from local donors, and sip at our indoor beer garden! N/A beverages are available, too!
Kids Activities
Don’t worry, young revelers—there’s a bounce house and kids activities in the gym from 4 to 6 p.m.!

We’ll have an auction featuring some FANTASTIC goods from local businesses—from sailing trips to dining gift cards to jewelry! With special appearances by Northland alum Olaf Kirsten (of Floydian Slip) and others, the night promises to have a lot in store.
