Join SOEI student leaders in celebrating the ‘good life’ in our Chequamegon Bay region by harvesting local Bayfield apples and then returning to campus to learn how to press cider and make an array of apple-inspired goodies around the campus fire ring using camp stoves and Dutch ovens. Transportation, experienced instructors, lunch, and all equipment provided.
The full cost of facilitating this SOEI day outing ($95.00/person) has been largely offset by a generous grant from the John C. Bock Foundation. What’s more, to meet our goal of ensuring equitable access to our experiences, students may choose from three price-point options.
There will be a pre-trip meeting in the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute on Thursday, September 30 at 6 p.m. This outing will depart from the SOEI at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 2.
