This outdoor adventure beckons you to traverse along sandstone bluffs, beaches, sand dunes, waterfalls, and forests overlooking the spectacular, aquamarine waters of Lake Superior. Join us on a twenty-mile trek while viewing dramatic multicolored cliffs and unusual geologic formations such as Miner’s Castle, in Michigan’s Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
Learn to navigate, set up camp, cook, stay dry, administer basic first aid, and properly load your pack as we travel on the North Country Trail, America’s longest National Scenic Trail. By the end of the trip, you’ll have the skills necessary to plan and enjoy a backpacking trip of your own.
