Calling all BIPOC students and alumni, as well as those who want to expand their understanding of how diverse job seekers’ career entry experience differs from your own.
Our alumni panelists are eager to tell you about their professional paths and what they’ve learned along the way. We’ll cover those unsaid topics, like how to identify employers who actually invest in diversity and inclusion beyond the job posting statement, what to look for in your interview, tips for finding a sense of community in your new work places, how to advocate for yourself to avoid tokenism, how to highlight what your identity brings to an organization, networking, and much more.
Attendees are encouraged to take part in optional break-out networking rooms so you have an opportunity to develop a connection with these professionals and ask anything that wasn’t discussed during the larger group session.
