Background

After growing up in the Metro Detroit area, I realized I needed a change of scenery for college and moved to the gorgeous Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where I spent four years exploring nature, enjoying massive amounts of snow, and gaining a deep appreciation for the community. I primarily served as the Senior Peer Educator at the Center for Student Mental Health and Well-being, and also worked in the Center for Diversity and Inclusion as a Peer Mentor. I was an NCAA DII Track and Field Athlete for two years, and was also in Greek life! Pretty much, I've done it all! I love new experiences.

Why Northland?

I fell in love with the feel of being a part of a small community, so I knew I wanted to continue that trend! A campus like Northland allows for deeper and more meaningful connections to be made, and I am excited to continue to learn about campus culture, history, and traditions.

Student Involvement

It is a priority of mine to make sure students feel like their voices and needs are being heard, uplifted, and empowered. I lead with empathy and with the belief that everyone deserves a safe space for their ideas, experiences, and passions. I enjoy collaboration across departments, clubs, and organizations in order to create a true sense of inclusion and belonging on campus.

Interests

If there is no snow, you can find me rollerblading at the skatepark or out on the path! When winter hits, I'm usually out skiing or ice skating. Otherwise, I am a big fan of graphic design, photography, and doing anything crafty!
