My background in the United States Air Force, nursing, and business have provided me a variety of opportunities to serve others. I have spent the majority of my life implementing new initiatives and programs for small businesses, the health care industry, and government agencies.

I have fond memories of visiting Northland Campus for vocal music competitions during my high school years. When we moved to Ashland 22 years ago, I was so happy to have Northland College in my back yard. I've always wanted to be a faculty member, meet the students, meet other faculty, and feel the energy on campus. It's wonderful to meet this goal in my life!

I am an Adjunct Instructor for Business 361, Organizational Behavior. It's been great to share insights of my health care and business career with students. I like to tailor my class to the needs of the students and provide real world examples that students can relate to and apply for their future career in business.

Group activities and presentations, guest speakers related to business, and discussion contrasting and comparing real world business culture from 80's and 90's with what is happening in present time.

I'm a maker! I love fiber arts and spend my time learning to weave, felt with wool, knit, and sew. I also make really good food for my friends and family. Jams, cakes, yummy veggies, stir fry, fish, venison, chicken and beef dishes. My husband and I enjoy the sport of fishing on Lake Superior and taking trips to Canada for walleye. I also play the ukulele, and travel to the Big Island of Hawaii frequently.
