Kerry Shadbolt is an artist and educator. She attended Michigan State University where she earned a BFA in Art Education. For the past sixteen years, Kerry has been teaching visual arts in public schools for high school and middle school students.

In 2007, she completed her graduate studies from MSU in educational technology abroad in Plymouth, England. Kerry has continued her work in the arts through creating and selling her fused glass jewelry, drawings, and paintings. She is co-owner of AudioArt Productions, LLC, a small business founded to create and promote music and art events in her community.

Kerry has been an active member of the National Art Education Association serving in past as Michigan Region 8 co-liaison, by running the 2014 MAEA Annual Conference as co-chair, as Michigan Youth Arts Festival visual arts co-chair, and as a MYAA board director.

In addition to her everyday duties as high school art teacher, Kerry directed and co-taught an all-ages community figure study drawing program. She coordinated various art shows including the Williamston Community Susan Lorenz Memorial Art Show. In 2015, she was rewarded for her volunteerism and practice by earning the Michigan Art Education Association Teacher of the Year and Secondary Teacher of the Year.
