Earned and Honorary Degrees
BS, Northland College
Background
I am originally from Apple Valley, Minnesota, and feel quite at home in the Upper Midwest! Fascination with the natural world has always led me towards the sciences, and in 2017 I came to Northland as a transfer student. After bouncing through a few majors I ended up studying geology, which really helped shape my view of the world, our impact on the planet, and our place in time. I’m excited to connect with students and expand the Northland community in my role as an admissions counselor!
Why Northland?
Northland has taught me the true meaning of community and offers a support system unlike anywhere else I’ve been. The connections made here and the opportunities those connections lead to are truly unique and encourage everyone involved to be themselves and seek out their passions. Plus, as an enjoyer of the outdoors, you really can’t beat living right next to the beautiful Lake Superior and the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest!
Interests
In my free time you’ll usually find me playing outside or crocheting with a cup of tea and an audiobook.
