Background

I am a thirty-year professional in college student affairs administration. I have served at three colleges and universities in the Midwest. My specific experiences include leadership in student activities, residential life, judicial affairs, and senior student affairs departmental/unit supervision.

Why Northland?

I was most attracted to come to Ashland based on the unique Northland College academic commitment toward sustainability along with a loyal and dedicated faculty and staff who work hard to promote student success. These are the qualities that attracted me the most about being at Northland College.

Student Involvement

I firmly believe that students support what they help to create. I work very hard towards building trust with students. I highly value the opportunity to work collaboratively with students at Northland College towards improving the quality of life on campus for all.

Personal Interests

I value physical fitness. You can often find me in the gym, on my bike, running, or swimming. I also am a huge football fan—I love the Volunteers of Tennessee and faithfully follow the Green Bay Packers! My greatest enjoyment is found in being a dedicated father to my three wonderful sons.
