I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker who relocated to the Ashland area from Utah in 2022. I received my bachelor’s of social work from Spring Arbor University in 2015 and my master’s of social work from Boise State University in 2016; shortly after graduating, I began my career as a therapist. My specialties are in treating anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and obsessive compulsive disorder. Though much of my experience is working with teens and families, my end goal was always to end up in higher education.

I knew I was moving to the Ashland area before I found Northland. Since I did not live in state and never visited the area before, I didn’t know what was available. I took a shot in the dark looking for colleges in the area and found Northland. The more I looked into this College, I realized that my values aligned with their mission.

One of my favorite things to do to connect with my clients and other students is be involved outside of the therapy office. While having that office is important to create a safe space, I believe that having face time with students is essential for building a good rapport. I approach sessions with a unique individualistic approach that will work for both me and my client.

My partner and I love to hike, rock climb, camp, and canoe with our two golden retrievers. We also love to try new restaurants and coffee shops.
