Forest Lodge Entrance
The entrance road may not show yet on some maps (such as Google Maps or GPS); it is west of the “Forest Lodge Road” that may appear on the map. To make sure you get to the right spot, refer to the directions below or the Forest Lodge property map, which shows this more clearly.

Directions

From the West (Cable)
When arriving, use the entrance road at the curve in Garmisch Road.

From the East (County Highway D)
After turning onto Garmisch Road, continue for several minutes. On your right, you will pass “Forest Lodge Road,” which has a locked gate. The main entrance road is the next right, where Garmisch Road takes a sharp bend to the left.

Parking

Parking for the Cow Palace, camping, and/or the Boathouse will be the first turn off on the left from the main entrance road. Follow signs to the right for the Guest House/Great Hall and Gatehouse. Please pull off to park so that property roads are kept clear for others, including emergency vehicles.
