To be considered for this annual scholarship of $5,000 the student must be studying at a junior, senior or graduate level at a college or university and attend, or plan to attend, an institution of higher learning that is located in Wisconsin or Minnesota. The student should also be preparing for a career in natural resources and be majoring in public policy, law, political science, engineering or any other field in which the student could prepare for a career in a profession that would further public understanding, appreciation and conservation of natural resources. Jaycees of Wisconsin Denise Bertucci Memorial Scholarship
This annual scholarship is awarded to a full-time student who is at least 22 years old and who has taken a break from attending for 2 years or more. The applicant must be a continuing student having completed a minimum of at least 2 semesters since returning to school with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and attending a Wisconsin post-secondary institution. Koenigs Conservation Association Scholarship
To be considered for this annual scholarship, the applicant must have a home residence in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. The student must also be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, have already completed a minimum of one full time year in college and reached college sophomore status, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater and be majoring in a natural resource related field. The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Education Foundation is offering this $1,000 award to a student pursuing a career in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering. Thomas Jones and Grace Stevenson Jones Scholarship
This $1,000-$3,000 scholarship is for Wisconsin students from Grant, Iowa, and Lafayette counties. Students must submit a letter of recommendation along with the application, which can be found on the NB&T website. All submissions must be postmarked by March 1.

TransCanada Community Leaders Scholarship

Virginia M. Wagner Educational Award
The Virginia M. Wagner Educational Award is a scholarship opportunity for women presented by Soroptimist International of Fond du Lac. Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. The Virginia M. Wagner Educational Award is unique to the Soroptimist Midwestern Region, and therefore only women attending schools in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin are eligible to apply. Wisconsin Women in Government
This scholarship program is designed to provide financial support for female-identifying students who wish to pursue careers in public service, public administration, or governmental affairs. The scholarship is available to current college or university students who likely would have difficulty continuing their education without financial assistance. The purpose of the program is to make post-secondary education more accessible to individuals who identify as female by relieving some of the financial burden. Applicants must be a resident of Wisconsin who identifies as female, have a financial need as determined by the receiving school based on applicant’s eligibility for HEAB-eligible grants, and be enrolled as a full-time or part-time undergraduate student for the fall semester at any of the eligible institutions. Young Adult Civic Engagement Award
An annual $1000 non-renewable scholarship will be awarded to a young person who demonstrates leadership abilities including initiative, integrity and service to others. To be considered, the applicant must be a college, technical college or university student aged 18-25, either residing in or attending an educational institution within one of the following Wisconsin counties: Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, Chippewa, Clark, Douglas, Iron, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Oneida, Polk, Portage, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, Taylor, Washburn, or Wood. Avomeen Analytical Services Scholarships
Avomeen is a contract research organization located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and they offer two scholarship opportunities annually to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline. One $2,500 scholarship is available to women in STEM and the second $2,500 scholarship is available to minorities in STEM. Three $3000 scholarships are awarded to a student pursuing the study of horticulture or plant sciences (such as floriculture, landscape design, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental sciences) attending a college or university located within the State of Wisconsin. Michael Abrahamson Memorial Scholarship
This $500 scholarship, provided by the Wisconsin Trappers Association, is awarded to a student pursuing a career in a wildlife-related science, such as biology, botany, natural resources, etc. The WTA is looking for a student who is successful in life, who has developed a strong sense of discipline, an ability to lead and motivate others, and possess a well rounded character. Sheboygan County Conservation Association SCCA Scholarships
Each year, the SCCA awards scholarships to college students who are majoring in an environmental management field such as resource science, law enforcement, forestry resources administration, fisheries management, wildlife management, zoology, or environmental education. Applicants must have earned college sophomore standing or have completed at least 60 credits by the end of the current school term. The applicants must have home residence in Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Calumet, Fond du Lac, or Ozaukee counties but may attend any college or university. Learn more.

Wisconsin Counties Solid Waste Management Association Scholarship
WCSWMA has developed a scholarship program for college students majoring in fields related to environmental education, solid waste management, recycling, environmental engineering, and the environmental sciences fields. Scholarships are open to junior, senior, and post-graduate level students, with declared majors and enrolled at accredited Wisconsin universities or colleges. Annually WCSWMA provides up to two scholarships of $2,000 each. Scholarships may be used to offset the cost of credit courses, books, laboratory supplies, computer supplies, electronic devices and living expenses. Learn more.

Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Scholarships
These awards are for students who are studying horticulture, landscaping, environmental sciences, conservation, forestry, or similar fields of study. The scholarships range from $1,000 to $2,500. Students may be eligible for more than one award. The application is due by January 20 and can be found on the Wisconsin Garden Club Federation website.

Wisconsin Laboratory Association
This $1,000 award is for students pursuing careers in non-medical laboratory related fields. Applicants must be current college students with a 3.0 GPA who have completed at least one semester of college. The annual deadline for this scholarship is March 31. Wisconsin Outdoor Communicators Association and Outdoor Heritage Education Center Scholarship
