A path for transferring credits.
An articulation agreement—also known as a transfer agreement or transfer pathway—is an agreement to accept credits in transfer, usually toward a specific academic program or course but sometimes towards the general requirements of a bachelor’s degree.
These agreements are designed to help students identify which courses can be applied toward a bachelor’s degree program at Northland, and avoid taking those which are not applicable. It is highly recommended, particularly when seeking transfer credit for coursework, to verify any conditions which may apply.
Articulation agreements are available upon request for a variety of area two-year colleges including Gogebic Community College, University of Wisconsin Colleges, and Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. Transfer work can be evaluated from any accredited institution upon request.

Wisconsin Technical College Transfer Students
To assist Wisconsin Technical College students in furthering their academic and career goals, Northland College participates in a course-to-course agreement with Wisconsin’s sixteen technical colleges. The WAICU-WTCS Course Credit Transfer Agreement is designed to ensure a smooth transfer process fo WTCS students who wish to pursue a degree at Northland.
The fourteen courses in the agreement will satisfy general education or general degree requirements when applicable. Students are responsible for confirming that these courses transfer to their intended major by working with their academic advisor.
