Northland values sustainability. In everything we do, we consider how it will advance sustainability in all of its forms: health, community, culture, environment, energy, and economy. These mini-systems interact in a larger context. It is from a full-spectrum point of view that we seek to understand, develop, and respond to our institutional goals to support sustainability.
Northland is proud to tie our sustainability mission into a wide breath of alternative programming. Choose from workshops, mini-trips, classes, camps, and retreats to fuel your love of learning.
Northland offers a variety of programming for school groups. These programs are held at the historic Forest Lodge estate. The property’s 872 acres of old growth forest combined with the wildness of Lake Namekagon’s pristine shoreline make it the perfect location for hands-on, experiential learning.
