Profile
Nathan began serving as Northland College's first Regional Sustainability Coordinator where he is responsible for Northland's external sustainability strategy; integrating sustainability into student life and the academic curriculum; and outreach and education. Prior to joining Northland he was employed by Cleveland State University where he also served as their first Sustainability Coordinator.
Mr. Engstrom's previous experience includes being the first Sustainability Coordinator at Oberlin College, serving as Program Director of the Wisconsin Green Built Home program, and as an Energy Services Advisor for the Wisconsin Energy Initiative 2 program.
Nathan also serves on the Boards of the Chequamegon Bay Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, the Agriculture and Energy Resource Center (AERC), and the Alliance For Sustainability.
