Northland Volunteer Program
The Northland Volunteer Program (NVP) assists and guides individuals and campus clubs and organizations in their efforts to become engaged in the community through a wide variety of service opportunities. We believe that service and volunteer experiences are essential components of a whole education. We also believe that an enduring spirit of service to others brings great personal satisfaction. Finally, we know that all varieties of selfless work on behalf of others build healthy, vibrant communities.
These opportunities can be a one-time activity, once a week, once a month, or year round. There will be a variety of opportunities to satisfy the Active Citizenship certification requirements. Additionally, this is a great way for clubs/organizations to address their community service hours, as well as be personally satisfying and look great on resumes.
For more information or to get involved, please contact us at nvp@northland.edu.
