Renewable Energy Fund
The student-managed Renewable Energy Fund contributes over $40,000 to campus sustainability initiatives each year. Past projects have included funding a geothermal heating installation, developing solar hot water systems and purchasing a Toyota Prius for the Office of Admissions.

Work Study Cost Share Program
Cost share work/study programs offer students opportunities
to gain pre-professional experience. These positions are offered during the
summer and must be related to community service. Students enroll for a three-credit internship
over the summer in conjunction with the position and Northland College pays
$3.00 of the summer wage, which helps to leverage funding from other partners.
