Gray Wolf, Canis lupus

Face: Round ears, square snout

Height: 28"-34" at shoulder

Weight: 50-100 pounds

Length: 5.0' - 6.5' (nose tip to tail tip)

Coloration: Grizzled gray and brown with whitish underparts, but can also be jet black or pure white

Coyote, Canis latrans

Face: Pointed ears, pointed snout

Height: 18" - 20" at shoulder

Weight: 25-40 pounds

Length: 4.0' - 4.5' (nose tip to tail tip)

Coloration: Grizzled gray and brown with whitish underparts
