The Senior Class Giving Campaign for the Class of 2012 is underway!
Your tuition alone does not provide all of the funding necessary to cover the cost of your Northland education. Gifts from alumni, faculty, staff, parents, friends, corporations, foundations, and even from fellow Northland students offset the cost of what you pay. Every gift, no matter the size, is important. |
|
“I wouldn’t have been able to come here without scholarships, so I’m continuing the tradition.” -Andrea Radtke ’12. |
The Senior Class Giving Campaign is designed for graduating seniors so they can begin their legacy of paying it forward to future Northland College students. Gifts made by the class of 2012 will go to a named scholarship that will be awarded in 2012-2013.

The Senior Class Giving Campaign of 2012 has gotten a massive boost from a young Northland alumna. Christy Tice ’05 has given a challenge gift of $1,000 to the Senior Class Giving Campaign to go towards a named scholarship. The Senior Class Giving Committee has named the scholarship Pay It Forward – Class of 2012, and is encouraging all seniors to join them in adding to it.
“We’re a tiny class,” said Rob Warner ’12. “But we can have a big impact with the help of this gift. It’s so awesome that our class has the opportunity to do this.”
Christy Tice designated her gift to the Senior Class Giving Campaign as a challenge to seniors, to encourage them to start giving back to Northland, as so many alumni do.
“If everyone in the class of 2012 gave $12, we’d add another $1,000 to the scholarship,” said Sarah Brunner ‘12. “Small gifts add up.”
The Senior Class Giving Committee is stressing participation over any monetary goal, whether a student gives $25, $12, or $2, doesn’t matter, just that they give something. “Pocket change is gladly accepted,” added Rob Warner ’12. |
