The Fair Trade symbol that you may see on coffee means that the beverage that you are about to enjoy has been grown from farms that provided fair wages and safe working conditions for their employees.
It also means that the farmers abided by internationally monitored environmental standards and guarantees that the farmer received a fair price for the crop.
By buying fair trade, you are supporting farmers across the world in their endeavors to earn an equal share for their work.

Welcome back!
Below is a list of resources to help you as you as your student returns to Northland. Please note that each section contains helpful information and links to forms that may be required to fulfill your student's requirements.
Student Success Coordinator
The Student Success Coordinator, works with new and continuing students in support of their academic coursework. This office coordinates the Student Tutor Program, where Northland students provide tutoring support to their peers on a walk-in basis at designated times each week. It also facilitates the Academic Early Alert System, through which faculty identify students who are struggling academically during the first weeks of each semester, so that they can be directed to the appropriate campus support services. The Student Success Coordinator is available to meet individually with students on a regular basis throughout the semester to work on developing their time management and study skills, both of which are essential to any student's success here at Northland.
